AIESEC discovers and develops the potential of young people through a process with several stages. Every member develops by continuous self-discovery, running an international exchange program and learning projects, leading teams on a local, national or international level, and through a professional internship in a company abroad.
Exchange is the most intense learning experience that we offer and links together our global network. Each year, we provide over 4,500 members the challenging opportunity to live and work in a foreign country in areas of management, information technology, education, and development.
Types of Exchanges:

Looking for a chance to volunteer for something more than just a one-off circumstance? Personal Advocacy Service reaches out to people with intellectual disabilities to include them in the life of the local community.
A gentle friendship with a person with intellectual disabilities gives us the opportunity to slow down, to look at the world from a different perspective and to enjoy the simple things in life. You will be supported by a small group of other volunteers, as well as the Personal Advocacy Training and Resource Centre staff.
The amount of time you will be asked to invest is 2 hours per week, during school terms, i.e. not during the school holidays!
If you would like more information about this volunteering opportunity, please phone Sue, Community Program Coordinator at Personal Advocacy Service Ph: 08 9275 5388.
